She is also the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at UofL. As faculty, she has also received the Peer Clinician-Educator Excellence Award yearly from the Department of Pediatrics. She speaks frequently on immunizing the immunocompromised host.
Dr. Statler is a site principal investigator for industry-sponsored clinical trials of new antimicrobial agents in immunocompromised children, as well as for Phase III vaccine trials in healthy children.
