Victoria A Tweedy

Victoria Tweedy is a Family Nurse Practitioner that has worked in pain management since 2010. She brings over 28 years’ experience in the medical profession to the NovaSpine Pain Institute team. She graduated with a Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Arizona University in 2010 and obtained certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners that same year. Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Nursing at Grand Canyon University in 2006. After working as a Nursing Assistant in the hospital setting, she realized she wanted to spend her life caring for others and obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse in 1995. She has worked in many areas of medicine including cardiac telemetry, critical care and hospice care in both inpatient and home settings. It was in these settings she learned the importance of the gift of compassionate care and pain relief. In addition to medication management, Victoria is …experienced in other forms of pain relief, including joint injections and trigger point injections. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has recently been selected as a Top Nurse in Glendale, AZ, 2018, by the International Nurses Association, in which she was spotlighted in the publication, Worldwide Leaders In Healthcare. When not in the office, she spends her time with her family, including her husband of 28 years, Ron, her son, Parker, and her daughter, Paige. In addition, she enjoys exercising and hiking, volunteering, reading and of course, shopping.
