I went to Dr. Kulkarni forever, and she was great... until I ran into a significant health issue. She wasn't asking questions about what was happening to me, she didn't acknowledge my concerns about my own health. Extremely disappointing, and I haven't been back since.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kulkarni for many years. I am confident that she listens to me and orders appropriate tests to monitor my health as I age. She spends a lot of time with me answering my questions and I never feel rushed. This is a compassionate and very intelligent physician. Dr. K has my trust.

She has been my GP for years. Kind, compassionate, takes a lot of time. Smart, multifaceted thinker who doesn't rush to medicate but rather understand root causes of things. Easy to talk with, and takes a lot of time with you.

I’ve been moving a lot for the past few years and haven’t found an outstanding doctor until Dr. Kulkarni. She’s so warm, caring, and compassionate about her work, it’s contagious. She always wants to help me!

I chose Dr. Kulkarni as my PCP and saw her for the first time with pain in my pelvic area. My husband and I had been trying to conceive but the pregnancy test was negative. She did a pap smear and I asked her to have a scan in the hospital done but she stated, "what for? if they see a cyst we would just watch it and wouldn't do any intervention." One month later, I became pregnant. On my first OBGYN appointment they found an 9cm cyst on my right ovary. I had a cystectomy when I was 15 weeks pregnant. If she had ordered the scan like I had asked, they would have found the cyst and I wouldn't have had to undergo surgery while pregnant. The beautiful ending to this story is now I do have a strong precious baby girl.

I asked the doc during the appt. if my blood tests would be covered by insurance. She assured me they would. I received a $500 bill and was told nothing could be done. Check website Dollars for Docs. She has been receiving kickbacks from pharma for several years. Most docs stopped that in the 90s and medical journal articles as well as the media have been written cautioning docs about the practice. Even less the $500/year affects their prescribing behavior. What other evidence-based practices does she choose to ignore to increase her revenue? Bio-ethicists do not recommend annual checkups unless someone has a condition that needs monitoring.

On every visit they ask you for your insurance information and take a copy of your card. My last visit they took a copy of my card asked me who my insurance provide was and i was then told they accept that insurance carrier. I then get a bill for the visit and told that they do not. Now after they took a copy of my insurance card and told me that they accept it they are trying to bill me and be extremely rude and unprofessinal about it. THeir office manager has admited to the mistake but their bill department is being worse then the collection agency and asking us to take responsibility. on top of that they will not let us talk to the doctor and aren't any help. when we asked them that if they do not take that form of insurance why would they even accept the insurance card and make a copy?Beware of this office!
