Dr. Vidya Szymkowiak, MD

Dr. Szymkowiak asked good questions, but the hands-on assessment was incomplete. When I received my appointment summary, I noticed she had added a diagnosis I never had before?without any testing or completion of a relevant questionnaire. She also diagnosed me with another condition based solely on her interpretation of my responses, without conducting any tests or considering a differential diagnosis. Additionally, she pushes for services earlier than age-appropriate. She also scheduled a repeat test that I have to pay for since it is no longer considered preventive care and an additional test that is very costly. I learned about being scheduled when the department called me to confirm the appointment the doctor scheduled for me without even telling me. Despite my repeated inquiries, the only response from the nurse was that the doctor wanted to speak with me, which requires a co-pay. This doctor seems more focused on billing than patient care. I absolutely do not recommend her.

Didn't care, tried to communicate to the best of my abilities my issues that I would like to resolve. She offered me little to no solutions or patience and did not want to help me find the root of issues I was having. Left me in the exam room in tears. Have never had worse care in my life. Felt like she couldnt wait to be done, spent a total of 11 minutes with me. Would absolutely not recommend. Very sad; chose her because she had outstanding reveiws but cannot comprehend as to why.

Dr.'s and Practitioners are always polite and treat everyone just as important as you are. on any busy day, one could expect a longer visit. Their goal is to get us back on the road to good health.

Dr. Symkowiak took her time and explained things very thoroughly. I didn't feel rushed. She was professional, but maintained an appropriate sense of humor. She and her staff have been prompt to follow up on any potential problems and in keeping me well informed.

While I found Dr Szymkoviak quite intelligent, her bedside manner is detached and lacking in compassion. I found her to be one of the least understanding physicians I have ever seen.
