Dr. Vidyasagar Chodimella, MD

Used to be good. Staff sucks. Creates office visits for revenue. I have been seeing Dr for 10 years. He has now resorted to making office visits for revenue. Charging for records that are in your health interest. Try someone else.

Dr Chodimella helped saved my life. I would recommend him to anyone I know!His receptionist is a little crazy, though!

I had edocarditis and lost 70% of my Mitral Valve and 80% of my Aorta Valve. Dr. Chodimella worked very closely with all of the specialist to oversee that I get all the medical care I needed before, during and after my double heart valve replacement which was done on 03/13/2009 by Dr. Joseph Coselli, Chief Thorasic surgeon for the Debake Heart Institute at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. I own my life to these fine gentlemen and would go to all ends of the Earth for them, The St. Lukes Episcopal Hospital in Houston, Baylor hospital in Carrollton, St. Judes, and the Texas Heart Institute. I also owe my life to Bishop Rayford High with the Episcopal Diocease of Texas who was able to put such a fine team todether for one individual [ME} who had the greatest desire of man to live, raise his children as a single parent and found out today that he will be a grandfather.

I had an abnormal EKG. Saw Dr. Chodimella for stress test. His young female tech performed test. Under my left breast the electrode was not attached and during the test she noticed it and attached it. The test should have been repeated. The result was "possible lack of blood source to lower heart". Dr. Chodimella said i was low risk for heart attack but my internist and new Cardiologist Dr. Scherer strongly disagreed. Based on the faulty test results from Dr. Chodimella, I had to undergo an angiogram which amazingly showed at age 57 I have absolutely no blockage in my heart. This cost me thousands of dollars. I wrote Dr. Chodimella and he basically said I was lying although he was not in the room when the tech noticed her error. I failed to pay the small amt owed on my acct and he deducted it from the debit card i used on my first visit. Also, his bedside manner is very poor.
