Best pediatrician ever!!!!

Very patient and caring.

After few Pediatrician we have seen, Dr. Mai is the best! He gave me his personal cell phone number, and when emergency case happens he replys my text after working hours, that is extremly important for a nonexperience 1st time mama with a new born baby! Now my son is 1yr and 4months, we are with Dr. Mai for almost 1yr already, even I change new insurance, I have to make sure Dr. Mai is in our insurance nerwork! Thank you, Dr. Mai!

Dr Mai is the best doctor!!!!!!!!!

I took my 2 boys to see Dr.Mai for the first time. They had been with Kaiser for the past 6 years, but we now have Blue Shield of CA. I did not know who is a good pediatrician near us, so I googled. Dr.Mai came up with great ratings, and as it turned out, he's also an in-network provider for Blue Shield, so I made an appointment to bring my kids in to see him for their annual checkup. I called on Tuesday, and got an appointment in his Covina office on Thursday. I am close to his Alhambra office, but wanted the earlier appointment, so we took the Covina appointment. There was a bit of a mix-up because I called to cancel the Alhambra office appointment next week and left a message with answering service who told the doctor's office that I wanted to cancel the Covina appointment. So when we got there, we had to wait a little longer because the receptionist had to clear insurance first since she thought we cancelled the appointment, so she did not check our insurance beforehand. … But she reinstated our appointment and we got to see Dr.Mai who was really nice and caring. When I told him that my son had complained about his arm hurting him, he ordered an x-ray STAT, and today, Dr.Mai called me to let me know that there was no broken bone. Thank you so much, Dr.Mai. You are truly a caring professional. My kids really like their new doctor.

The experience we had with Dr. Mai was above my expectations. I made an appointment on the same day and was admitted easily. I took my son in and after the check up was done, I suggested he get blood work as well. Dr. Mai immediately filled out the paper work and we were on our way. We went back the next day to discuss the results - Dr. Mai was very attentive and went to the extent of giving us his direct contact information. We were very pleased and happy with his service.The 3 Stars were for the receptionist that made us wait while she was clearly texting.

I take both of my children to Dr. Mai. He knows how to talk to the kids, staff is great, wouldn't want anyone else taking care of my kids.Very caring physician who knows his stuff.

Dr. Viet Mai is my son's doctor. He has been always there for my son. Whenever we needed to see him he was available with an appointment. Always asking questions and taking the time to answer all your questions. I am so glad I have a caring doctor like him for my son. Wish I had one for myself like him.
