Dr Adappa was very pleasant and confirmed my salivary stones diagnosis with a CAT- scan and thorough question and answer appointment before completing the surgery at St Vs. I guess they're the only hospital that had the special thin grabber instrument that could go down my salivary duct under my tongue to remove the 2nd stone. I had been plagued with these weird symptoms of occasional swelling under my jaw all throughout college and the student clinic was worthless until I finally found a good doctor after graduation. She referred me to Dr Adappa an ENT and thankfully I haven't had any problems since the surgery! Great experience all around.

Yet another appointment that I was stuck going to and this time we walked in the office and were told that we called and canceled our appointment this morning. WHAT???? When I replied that NO I never called and cancelled all she did was yell and say oh well. I’ve been sick for over a week waiting to get into this appointment and this is what happens? They go straight to not believing you and treat you like crap. Come to find out someone ELSE received our reminder card in the mail and called the office this morning and said they were not me and didn’t have an appointment so the office cancelled my appointment! So now that they figured out what happened did they applogize? NO! She got even more rude and yelled at my husband- like it was all our fault that she now has to try to fit me in. This is unbelievable! I hope this dr loses his license for being a quack and his staff loses their jobs. I am going to make sure I post reviews everywhere I can find on the internet as well as warn… all my friends on Facebook. This place is unprofessional and rude!

If you value your hearing do NOT go to this doctor! He should have his medical license revoked. I was admitted to the hospital with a ruptured eardrum and unfortunately I had the poor luck of the draw and ended up with him being the one contracted with the hospital to do the surgery to clear out the infection and place a tube. He told me when I woke up I would have my hearing back and the pressure would be gone. The exact opposite happened. The pressure increased and still no hearing. Terrible pain. He gave me ear drops and they would just sit in my outer ear and go nowhere! I tried to get in to see him post op 5 days later after I began vomiting and feeling dizzy from the increased pressure and loss of hearing. No appointments available. So I did a walk in. I immediately realized that this guy is a Medicaid mill. All he does is see patients for like two seconds, doesn’t listen to a thing and says “you be better soon- all is fine”. NO nothing was fine! When I told him I wanted him to… look and see if the tube was still intact and open to drain he looked for like one second and said to me that he couldn’t see anything. WHAT??? That’s it. When I told him the pressure in my ear was worse and I could feel the fluid sloshing in there and that the pain was spreading across my face and skull from all of the pressure he tried to diagnose me with TMJ- a jaw problem! I told him I do not have TMJ and that I questioned his competency. A 6 year old could diagnose what is wrong and what needed to be done. I needed the tube replaced and the fluid drained so that my eardrum and the rest of the now infected ossicles could recover. I ended up going to a REAL actual ENT who knew what to do. But since I hd been stuck with this quack from the beginning and didn’t know any better and followed his advice to “wait and it will get better” I ended up losing ALL of my hearing in my left ear PERMANENTLY! I am a young person who had a simple eardrum ruptured and he ruined my life forever! I am contacting the medical board to have Dr Adappa investigated and hope to have his medical license revoked ASAP! He should not be practicing medicine on anyone. I hope people read this before they subject themselves or their children to the ineptness of this “Doctor”.

The doctor is quick in and out. The staff especially the office manager, not Lori is extremely rude, condescending, and gives an attitude when a problem arises. The office staff taking appointments mess up frequently and they either cancel your appointment or reschedule it with another doctor with no notice or even a call. Better yet, they completely reschedule your surgery to another hospital after sending paper work and a time from another hospital. I would not recommend this office due to poor office staff.

I had a surgery for my right ear, i had one whole in my ear drum .after surgery he created another whole and i didnot hear in my ear i ended having another surgery with diffrent dr. And i lost 30% of my hearing,i don't recommend hem for any ear problems or surgery and he is dishonest

This review is not for the doctor but the staff. They were very rude and impolite. There was a problem with my appointment mysteriously being cancelled when I ask to speak with someone regarding it I was placed on hold for 30 mins. Then I was transferred to the office Manger she was just as rude she had an attitude and would not let me speak. She then stated there was nothing she could do and hung up on me. No thrilled at all will never go back and would not recommend.

I have been going to this doctor for a number of years. He diagnosed my illness when several others could not. The staff is very friendly and have no problems making appointments.
