Did not have to wait long. Had to have multiple tests due to glaucoma suspect diagnosis. The tests took a long time but I did not have to wait between tests.

I give Dr. Battu and his practice a BIG Goose Egg. Normally I donâ??t write reviews but felt I had to warn anyone doing their due diligence on this doctor (by reading these reviews) to steer clear. Iâ??m here to tell you that there are way better eye doctors out there. I wish I'd done some research before â??blindlyâ?? being treated by Dr. Battu/Battu Vision. I ended up in Dr. Battuâ??s practice around 3 years ago when, unfortunately, the wonderful eye doctor I had been seeing for many years, sold his practice. All my history (and medical records) ended up with Dr. Battu. I trusted in my previous eye doctorâ??s choice of replacement. Perhaps, too trusting. Not only is Dr. Battuâ??s practice mismanaged, his staff and his associate, Dr. Nipper, are disconcertingly unfriendly but they are grossly incompetent. Iâ??ve never encountered a pleasant voice on the other end of any call with their office and the treatment received in person, is far worse. My visits up until 3 years ago were… pretty routine - eye exams, field tests, dilations. Additionally, I always paid (out-of-pocket) for a refraction test and considered myself pretty lucky that my eyesight was good enough not to require glasses for distance, just needing over the counter reading glasses (1.25/1.50). So after a refraction test 2 years ago, when I was advised by Dr. Battu that I would benefit by wearing glasses for distance as well, I took the prescription to a lens establishment to get my first pair of real glasses (progressives) filled. Immediately upon receiving these glasses (costing me many hundreds of dollars out-of-pocket), I noticed that I was having issues seeing clearly (distance) â?? which was the very point of getting the glasses in the first place. As this was my first pair of glasses, the lens establishment told me to try and get used to the glasses (progressives take some time), which I did. They also double checked the prescription and confirmed it was what Dr. Battu had prescribed. So, when several months later, I still wasn't seeing properly (distance), I called Dr. Battuâ??s office explaining that I was having issues with the prescription glasses recently filled. After essentially having the refraction testing redone (done as a courtesy) to confirm my prescription was correct, I was told by Dr. Battuâ??s assistant, that the prescription was, indeed, correct. However, I never quite got an explanation (I could understand) why exactly it was that I spent many hundreds of dollars on glasses that I couldnâ??t see properly with. A few months ago, I went back to Dr. Battuâ??s office for my usual eye exam and paid out-of-pocket for another refraction test. I was still using my earlier prescribed glasses (but had only been using them for reading â?? as distance-wise they still remained unclear). My chief complaints (again) regarding my vision were that the glasses were doing very little to help me see distance. After completing the refraction test, I was given a â??strongerâ?? prescription to help with my (distance) vision concerns. I again had the prescription filled by another lens establishment, again costing many hundreds of dollars out-of-pocket. However, I was looking forward to finally getting glasses that would help me to see. I was devastated when I received the same result upon finally getting the glasses back. This time, however, while the up close reading was â??spectacularlyâ?? clear, the distance (reading) was equally fuzzy. I was beyond frustrated. All I wanted was to see properly. The lens establishment suggested that I get another refraction test done (with their doctor) and if the prescription was different than what was prescribed by Dr. Battu, they would not charge me to replace my lenses. I took the deal. I paid them for another refraction test. Sure enough, not only was the prescription different, it was VASTLY different than what was prescribed by Dr. Battu. The doctor I saw basically told me that the very first prescription Dr. Battu gave me (2 years ago) was a joke and how she was not at all surprised I couldnâ??t see distance clearly, as the first prescription barely had anything in it to help my distance vision nor did little to correct the astigmatism in my right eye. Essentially, I was walking around with a very overpriced pair of reading glasses. The doctor went on to say that while the second prescription Dr. Battu gave me was better in terms of correcting the astigmatism, it was, in fact, way too strong. Like going from 0-60. The doctor further told me that had I gotten the correct prescription initially (2 years ago) from Dr. Battu, I would most likely not have needed the second prescription, as she believes my eyesight had not really changed that drastically during that time. She adjusted the prescription with the promise that it would make a world of difference. She was absolutely right. I NOW finally have a complete pair of glasses I can see out of. It only took one refraction test and one prescription from a qualified doctor other than Dr. Battu (2 prescriptions, 3 refraction tests). To say that I am livid with Dr. Battu is a huge understatement. Dr. Battu is completely responsible for prescribing 2 incorrect prescriptions, which not only cost me my sight for nearly 3 years, but set me back a substantial amount of out-of-pocket money ($1200). I trusted him, his practice their tests and evaluations and trusted them to provide me with quality eye care. Dr. Battu should own up to his egregious role and reimburse me for the out-of-pocket expenses I incurred due to the incompetent eye exams performed by his practice. So, when I promptly called Dr. Battuâ??s office not only demanding my records â?? Iâ??m definitely not going back there â?? as well as to request a refund for the out-of-pocket costs I paid â?? I was met with resistance by Dr. Battu, his practice and his staff.

The practice is quite lovely and Dr. Battu was very helpful with my eye issue. Offered many samples to find the correct solution to my problem and his staff was quick to assist me with further information. I even found a nice pair of sunglasses in their optical area.

I was searching for Dr. Battu's address and found a completely inaccurate review of Dr. Battu and his office, and thus I am writing this. He was courteous, kind, professional, and treated my condition completely. Now I'm better than ever! His office staff were wonderful, and they were able to accommodate me quickly. Although the office has been under renovation, it was looking quite nice. As a new patient, I was happy with the overall care and office, and I will be coming back!

His office literally looks like it is from a 1970's horror film. It is dirty and filled with junk everywhere. The actual exam room is another office full of boxes everywhere. The doctor himself is rude and terse. There were 0 patient waiting, but he wouldn't take the 2 mins to answer my questions about his exam. I would never go back to him.
