I went to the Dr to a Free Consultation for a breast reduction & lift, the Dr was very nice he patiently explain the procedure to me, then he told me because of the size of my breast my medical insurance may pay for it, so I was excited about saving that money, the girl at the front desk told me the insurance company will mail me the answer, in a few weeks my insurance company decline to pay so I was fine with it but soon after that I receive a bill from the DR for $140 for a office visit, I call the office to ask why I receive a bill, the girl told me that I wanted the insurance to pay so my visit was consider a office visit and ask me if I didnâ??t receive a copy of the bill from my insurance I told her no, the only thing got was the insurance explain the reasons it wasing been covered, she became very argumentative when I ask why I wasing told that itâ??s a office visit and no longer a Free Consultation she told me well itâ??s like visiting my primary DR, I think itâ??s a scam… because with all his experiences of doing these procedures he should have know that the insurance wouldnâ??t pay he just did that just to send me a bill Iâ??m just wondering how many people he did the same thing toâ?¦. Just be up front and clear with your patients....
