Dr. Vijay Krishna Prabhakar, MD

Dr. Prabhakar performed my colonoscopy over a week ago. He was very friendly and asked me a few questions re: my previous GI test when he saw me in the waiting room. After I was taken to the procedure room, I saw him typing a lot of things on his computer. I was moderately sedated and didn't experience any discomfort during the process. After I was done with the procedure, he explained to me briefly what he found and did. I went home and followed his post procedure instructions for a few days without any pain or bad symptoms from my digestive system. Then his nurse called to follow up with me. The same day (date for colonoscopy), I received a very detailed colonoscopy report with lots of pictures taken during my colonoscopy. The report has also documented everything including my preparation score, my vital signs, the entire process, the very descriptive findings, and the recommendation for my next colonoscopy. A few days later, I received the pathology report with his comments. I am… very impressed by what Dr. Prabhakar has done for me and would like to highly recommend him to anyone who needs to see a GI doctor.
