ATTN: Dr. Nama Subject: Serious Concern Regarding Withheld Prescription Dear Dr. Nama, I’m writing to express my deep frustration and serious concern regarding the handling of my recent prescription refill by your staff. What I experienced this week was not only negligent, but unethical — and it put my health at risk. It is absolutely unacceptable. On Tuesday, 5/5 Morning, I called your office to schedule an appointment and explained that I was aware of the 3-month policy for prescription renewals and even scheduled the appointment for next week to show good faith that I was going to the appointment for the refills going forward. I also clearly stated I was down to my last two pills and urgently needed a refill to hold me over until my upcoming appointment. I was told the request would be passed along to you for same-day approval as you're the only one that can approve it. On Tuesday, 5/5 Afternoon, I followed up and was told the prescription would get approved by the end of the… day by YOU as you're the only one that can approve it. On Wednesday, 5/7, I drove through heavy traffic and waited in line at the pharmacy, only to find out that nothing had been sent. I called the office again and was told again that it had now been sent. I was spoken to condescendingly when I simply tried to confirm that it was, in fact, submitted this time around. On Thursday, 5/8, I returned to the pharmacy again — and again, nothing was there. At this point I had run out of medication completely. I called your office once more, and the experience was even worse. One staff member (I believe her name was Mariana) was initially going to send it over right away she said, but once she realized I was upset — understandably so — she became dismissive, took back the help she had initially offered, and told me I’d have to wait for your approval after all. She then hung up on me and refused to let me speak with a higher-up. I called back, hoping to reach someone who could actually assist me, I called again — this time through the scheduling line — and finally reached someone who, despite also being very snappy, submitted the prescription for me right away and within five minutes, it was available at the pharmacy. That shows me this could have been done from the start, but was intentionally delayed on purpose by your staff!!!!!!!!!!! This experience was unacceptable. I was lied to, treated disrespectfully, and given the runaround for multiple days — all while being out of life-dependent medication!!!! Your staff withheld my prescription out of pettiness, and it is unethical and very dangerous! They are not only unprofessional and unaccountable, but they clearly lack the training or compassion required to handle people’s health with the seriousness it deserves!!!!! Dr. Nama, this is negligence. If anything had happened to me due to being without medication, the consequences could have been serious for all involved. I’m demanding that you look into this issue thoroughly. Your patients deserve a staff that is competent, professional, and most importantly, trustworthy when it comes to their health! Dr. Nama is extremely polite and a good listener. Her assistant is as well. The whole team including staff are well managed. The office always clean. Great medical advice and compassionate. Thumbs up!

Finally ! ...... now I have a doctor who I like very much and the staff has been equally helpful too. They have been very busy on some days but have always come through for me. Dr. Nama is very knowledgeable and listens very attentively before diagnosing ... always explains and answers my questions. I am much healthier now than I was on my first visit, over a year ago.

I love Dr. Nama she is an excellent doctor. Her staff is very disorganize, I don't get call backs, referral for scans or X-rays. They don't answer the phone!!! Very stressful to try to get an appointment or get in touch with the staff.

Medical Staff was slow about calling my RX and for a moment there was some miscommunication between the Pharmacy and clinic.

I have been going to DR,Nama for almost a year and a half,still have the same problems i had to start with.keeps giving me stains drugs for cholestrol,iv'e told her from the start i can not take satins.,iv'e ask to have things on my blood work ck out ,still not done,I've called her office several time to get meds.refilled have to call two are thee times to get.the office help is not very good!!!! just saying this is my thought for them,
