Dr. Viju Moses, MD

Dr. Moses was my first rheumatologist. He was upstanding, patient and took time to talk about my options. He understood my terror with the new dx. He gave me advice that less is better with these meds. I function very well with this advice. I hated that he left UF Health. I have never found a Rheumatologist that could come close to the treatment I received with him. I have never found another Rheumatologist that cares. I periodically check to see if maybe he is back locally.

I was referred to Shands Rheumatology by my internist. The scheduling was easy and the wait time was not long. Dr. Moses was pleasant, soft-spoken and took time to listen to my complaints, as well as ask questions. He clearly explained to me what the next steps would be. He put me at ease during the exam and answered my questions. Professional physician.

I was referred to Shands for another opinion, by my community Rheumatoligist, Internist, and Dermatologist. My impression when scheduling was I was suppose to see a very experienced MD and instead I get this man who had already made up his mind about diagnosis. I am a very experienced RN and it was obvious his mind was made up and any complaints I am experiencing were not listened to or even considered. Total waste of time and gas money.
