My son went in for a possible heart murmur was told the day of are vacation that he has restrictive cardiomyopathy. He also tolds us not to google it because it reads a lot worse then it is .well the only cure is heart transplant after 5 years of being diag with it . we told him that my 18 year old son starts college in a month DR Desai said go off to college if he has symptoms to come back otherwise set up a follow up in 6 months .After talking to other people and doctors was told to get a second opinion that is was unlikely that he would have that having no symptoms and was juat getting a routine physical before college.We were told to go to childrens hospital .Well after tests done at childrens we sat down with the doctor and my son is fine and healthy and does not have any type of cardiomyopathy the doctor asked how we even got to this point and he felt bad we got put threw such worries . THANK GOD HE WAS WRONG . THE STRESS OF HIM BEING WRONG TOOK A TOLL ON MY FAMILY .IN THE END… ALL I CAN SAY IS GET A SECOND OPINION.

At eighty years of age, employed full-time, commuting (make that competing) during peak travel times in Metro-West, I take comfort knowing Vic Desai truly cares for my heart health and me! His "Chair-side" manner is tendered generously given during these days of a seconds-allotted driven, "efficient" care HMO Plans. Support staff treat us like family...they treasure, not billable hours. I seldom give a four-star review, wish I had five-star choices! Thanks "Jo" Chris and Vic you are remarkable. PS I seldom give all four stars but there are no five star choices
