Dr. Vikash S. Oza, MD

When my son was born at Tisch Hospital with some unusual defects, the staff called in multiple experts to try to understand what was happening. Dr. Oza was one of the experts brought in to see my son and he was the doctor who accurately diagnosed him with a rare disorder. Dr. Oza was compassionate in delivering the diagnosis, but also honest about the prognosis. It was tough to hear at the time, but it was information we needed at that critical juncture. Over the following days, weeks, months, and years, Dr. Oza assumed the role of coordinating my son's care and treatment. We also took our son to a pediatrician at NYU, but the pediatrician seemed too busy for us. By contrast, Dr. Oza took a highly active role in my son's care, even pushing me to do more when he perceived that I was complaining about the overwhelming number of visits with specialists. Of note, Dr. Oza is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, which are both very important qualities in a doctor when your… child's well-being is at stake. Fortunately for my family, my son's disorder turned out to be relatively mild. He has done very well thanks to the tireless efforts of Dr. Oza and his team. Dr. Oza ensured my son had the best, most advanced treatment available. He also spent a great deal of time speaking with me, explaining the diagnosis, treatments, and different strategies. I could tell the doctor sometimes grew frustrated with my constant questioning, but he rarely let it show and demonstrated remarkable compassion and bedside manner. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Oza. His diagnosis and treatment of my son has led to a great outcome and quality of life. Thank you, Dr. Oza!

I’ve been to four different dermatologists, but Dr. Oza is the one that I should’ve went to from the start. He spent about 25 minutes in the room — talking about specific details about my skin and several different treatment options I could choose from. Dr. Oza makes those three months of waiting for your Derm appointment worth it!!!

My daughter has severe eczema and Dr. Oza found the right cream to help control her outbreaks. We live in New Jersey and travel to see him. His office staff is so nice and helpful! Thank you Dr. Oza!

Dr. Oza and his staff refused to see my child for a medical emergency. They asked me to wait 6 weeks for his availability. They were extremely rude and unkind. Further when I asked for medical records to take to a new doctor, they refused to provide. I have had to escalate. If you want a doctor who is there for you, Dr. Vikash Oza is not the one.

Dr. Oza is patient and explains everything in detail. He is great with kids as well and a caring and compassionate doc! His office is also very timely. I have been a few times for my daughter and always on schedule.
