Dr. Viken S Melkonian

I saw this dr a couple of weeks ago and I had a terrible experience with his staff. I called to cancel my appointment and they sent me a bill for $50, for not show. I told them that I called to cancel and they said that I didn't, that they wanted me to send the $50. I asked them to cancel my future appointments and to please give me my ultrasound results. They wanted to charge me for my results, and they also, said that those results were the doctor's, not mine!!! I called my insurance and the hospital were the tests were done, and they told me, that I could have a copy of my tests with no problem. The manager was very rude and I feel that they only care about money, but not about the patients. I do not recommned this doctor to anybody.

The doctor may be friendly and appears concerned about you, but after he did a botched hysterectomy cutting my bladder in 2 places resulting in another surgeon being called in to correct the problem, he then lied about what happened. Only after ordering the reports from the hospital did I find out the truth. Have suffered tremendous pain for months and can't wait unil the day I am back to normal. Would never trust him.

Dr melki (milky) as the nurses call him, is beyond great. He took care of my mother, myself and my two sisters for ob care and gyn care. Now he is taking care of my oldest daughter. He showed extreme compassion when I lost my term baby. He cried when he held him and said a prayer. I would trust no one else. We drive 1.5 hrs to see him and I have to second thoughts about it.

After having a bad experience with my first OB halfway through my pregnancy I switched to Dr. Melkonian. It was the best switch I could have made! He is caring, knowledgeable, and his office staff is great. He diagnosed a problem that my first doctor had missed, and because of this, I had a perfectly healthy baby! Now that I am pregnant with my second child, I am so glad I have a OB that I trust.
