I believe he was not honest with me, left me in the dark. Am much worse off now. Would not trust this guy in a life or death situation. Choose your doctor wisely.

I have had abdominal pain for years and saw numerous gastroenterologists. All they ever wanted to do was more procedures, more scans, and prescribe morphine. They even took out my gallbladder and did lots of ERCPs. I never felt better and often felt worse after the ERCP. They kept telling me my pain was due to chronic pancreatitis and there was nothing else they could do. I was always skeptical about this because my imaging reports kept noting a normal pancreas. I was so confused and so tired of being in pain. Dr. Singh was the first gastroenterologist who took the time to review all of my prior medical records and imaging. He told me my pain was not due to the pancreas but due to IBS. He started me on pamelor and I have been pain free since and feel great! I would recommend him to anyone of my friends or family. He is really smart, well-educated, easy to chat with and understands the frustrations many patients with chronic abdominal pain face each and every day of their. I really do… not understand the negative comments on him from other patients who post on this site.

I was referred to Dr. Singh when I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis with a mass. He met with me looked at my ct scan, and told me what my issue was. He came up with a plan to put a stint in my pancreatic duct since the issue was a narrowing in my duct. He sent me for an MRI on my second visit to him. The Dr who read my MRI noted that my pancreas was healing well on its own and the mass had shrunk significantly. I was not having any more issues at this time. Was completely off pain meds and felt great. My blood glucose was still very well controlled at this time. Mornings were 117, afternoons were 98 evening were between 78 and 88. Even after getting the info that I was healing great, (I found this out later) he wanted to put the stint in. And so we scheduled the procedure and did in fact put it in. I developed problems the first day. Unable to eat solid foods and mild stomach pain. I informed his people of this and nothing was done. So for the next five weeks, I was in and out… of the hospital unable to eat anything solid and the pain getting worse. I was not digesting food at all. I would call his office and be treated as if I was making it up. And then told to call my gastroenterologist were I live. finally on my last visit to the er I was admitted for internal bleeding from my pancreas. At that point his team finally agreed something was wrong and they would remove the stint early. Thankful for that. I lost 35 pounds in 5 weeks. On my last visit with him he told me that they put the stint in as a precaution. So it wasn't really necessary. Now my glucose is out of control and i have mild pain from time to time. I would not recommend him or his staff to anyone.

He would not truly listen. He was rude, rolling his eyes looking at his coffee cup the whole time. He was a condescending a#$. Anything that I said he would deflect. I would bring up research that johns hopkins researchers conducted and other studies that have been done he would dismiss and say those articles can be wrong. He acts like god and hes all high anx mighty. Thise are the cocky doctors thst make stupid mistakes Avoid him like the plague.

Dr. Singh was very knowledgeable, direct, and thorough. He spent enough time evaluating my husband's case and provided a very clear and logical treatment plan. He also followed up immediately that evening as he said he would. His knowledge of my husband's condition was impressive. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Singh is incredibly knowledgeable about pancreatic diseases, knows the results of all studies in his field, is well-mannered, spents lots of time with his patients, and has an impeccable pedigree. As he deals with a difficult patient population, many of whom are on chronic narcotics, I can understand the variability in reviews as these patients place a narcotic prescription higher on their list of desires than getting a diagnosis and non-narcotic management plan that is in their long-term interests.

Dr.Singh can be rude and his staff is extremely rude but Dr.Singh really knows his stuff.

Could not have been more caring & concerned. Extremely knowledgeable about pancreas and highly regarded by his colleagues. We have total trust in his diagnosis.
