Dr. Vikram Shantaram Kashyap, MD

Doctor is not very help full. I asked a very specific question to their office (Claudia and Jenny). The doctor would not answer the question over the phone. VERY unprofessional.

The office in Beachwood where he works is poorly managed. I waited for 90 minutes passed my scheduled appointment. In addition to this, the receptionist went on & on very loudly on the phone with someone about patients she helped earlier that day. It intimidated some of the other patients & they felt uncomfortable talking with her. The office itself is my worst experience of any CLE Clinic location. I had a biopsy & was informed my results would return in 3-5 biz days. I took the Dr. a week to call me. I found out the test results on a Tues from my PCP only because I was already talking to her about other matters. Then I called his office once a day asking for him to call with more information & it wasn't until Thur afternoon when I said I was staying on the phone until they got him that he returned my call. All he needed to do was apologize & explain the results. Instead he said he doesn't always know when test results come in & blamed his busy schedule. Work with someone else.

If it wasn't for the expertise and caring from Dr. Kashyap and his team, I wouldn't be writing this review. He is an excellent and innovative vascular surgeon! I followed him from Cleveland Clinic where he repaired my 6.8 cm thoracic-abdominal aortic aneurism to University Hospitals. He is a physician that definitely knows how to treat his patients!

Dr. Kashyap sets an example for all physicians. Oh, that they all be as courteous, compassionate, intelligent, correct in diagnosis & caring. UH & we, in Cleveland, are indeed fortunate to have him amongst us!
