Very experienced and helpful.

I had a virtual appointment scheduled with him and he cancelled 10 minutes after the scheduled appointment. He then lied about the reason for the cancellation. He told Dr. On Demand one thing and told me another. He has no integrity and you cannot count on him.

Dr. Gill is the reason my son and I have a healthy relationship. For years, my son demonstrated disturbing behavior and Dr. Gill was able to identify and assess the problematic behavior. He carefully managed and evaluated medications' effectiveness. I cannot give Dr. Gill enough praise!

Dr. Gill has made a huge impact on my life. I have been seeing him for the past five years. I feel I've gotten to know him both as a doctor and as a person. What I've found is someone who is an accomplished and caring clinician but also a generous and empathetic man. He understands what I go through. I fully trust his judgment. When I first came to Dr. Gill, he very quickly assessed my previous diagnosis was incorrect. It takes a while to change any kind of medication, but we did it slowly yet decisively. Finally, I discovered that I, too, could feel like a functioning person. I am eternally grateful for that. I highly recommend Dr. Gill. He provides not only the best clinical care but does it with warmth and humanity.

Late for half an hour for the appointment; answered phone call in the middle of the session and left the patient waiting. Very disrespectful tone in conversation in general and doesn't believe patients for knowing their own body. In particular, with a mindset misgendering everyone as male and prying for sexual relationship information even if you state there is none. I have been in doubt about the content and number of unanimous good reviews online as usually even the very best doctors close to retirement don't have so many reviews with everyone saying generic good words.

I was really disappointed with my experience with this doctor through the Doctor on Demand platform. Our session was allotted for 45 minutes and we spoke for maybe 20 minutes. I had come prepared and eager anticipating several things to discuss and I felt that he did not care and was not curious to know more. It was such an incredible upset. I had been considering a specific diagnosis for some time and had done substantial peer reviewed research on the topic prior to my visit. I expected him to be able to weigh in on things and offer his own take but that was exactly opposite my experience. The visit was rushed and felt incredibly impersonal--like I was just a cog in the wheel until the end of his day. I was really upset and have since decided to focus on other ways to improve my situation as I'm really disenchanted with the mental health system right now and I do not feel heard --- perhaps the most important thing a therapist can provide to a client. Reviews suggested that my… experience would be wonderful but unfortunately that was not the case in my situation.

Dr. Gill was very thoughtful and helpful. Through a fairly brief discussion he was able to determine something that other doctors had not and I was able to get a correct dosage and type of medication that I needed.

Dr. Gill is a true gem - he is very compassionate and experienced physician. He does not dilute your appointments with excessive consultations and never makes you jump through hoops to find what works for you. I love that he always makes friendly jokes to lighten up the tension that can build when discussing new diagnoses and trialing new medication. He always takes the time to explain the in's and out's of my condition to my husband, which has helped tremendously. He has been a true savior time and time again, making the time to see me on short notice and adjusting my doses between appointments, if needed. I recently left the greater Chicago area and still come back just for his expertise. Above all else, I have to say that Dr. Gill is wonderful man who makes himself available to help his patients.
