I don't know where some of the comments are coming from that Dr. Novikov doesn't care or acts like a know-it-all. He is extremely professional and has a great sense of humor, maybe this can surprise some people and make him seem unserious. He isn't unserious. He has treated me now for two years from sinus infections to strep throats, skin problems, men's health, sporting injuries, mental health, hormones and other things. The nurses respect him and I respect him. And to the commenter that mentioned that all that Dr. Novikov does is throw anti-depressants at his patients, I have had exactly the opposite experience. One time when we're discussing them as a treatment option, he said that he'd rather do non-medicinal options before prescribing me anything, and we spoke about how they affect the brain, etc, and he gave me a bunch of advice on meditation and relaxation, which helped me. He is an extremely sensible doctor and probably the biggest asset at the San Ramon Kaiser facility, and… his colleagues agree. I wish I could give Dr. Novikov six stars.

He used to be a excellent doctor was working with standford clinic because of standford policy now he is with Kaiser his attitude changed he no longer cares about his patients now is wasting of time to keep as PCP doctor.

Doctor Novikov was my physician for about five years at Bay Valley. He was absolutely fantastic! He was thorough in his examinations and always took the time to go over my health needs in depth. He was always professional and prompt and courteous, and I enjoyed working with him.

Doctor Novikov was arrogant and insisted on prescribing antidepressant medications insteadof finding the root of the problems. He speaks as if he has more knowledge than specialist as if he was one. I find Dr. Novikov to be very thorough and patient, is not afraid to perform needed testing until he finds an accurate diagnosis for symptoms, and gives detailed instructions on care options.
