Dr. Vinay Krishna Krishna Pulusu

My husband was sent to the Clovis Community ER with orders from his personal physician to be admitted and given IV antibiotics and pain medication for an infection that had been going on for 2 weeks. He has lost 22 lbs and can't eat. Dr. Pulusu disregarded our doctor's orders, denied him hospital admittance, and discharged my husband after only 24-hours of the medication. He also did not prescribe any pain meds or antibiotics to send him home. He disregarded my husband's plea for him to please discuss this with our doctor and because this is COVID season, I was unable to advocate for him. He is exhausted and tired of fighting and this doctor took advantage of that. He even had the nurses numb my husband's throat so that he could swallow a few bites of food so that the doctor could say that he had eaten solid food before he left the hospital. This man needs to be audited. He needs to be reprimanded for his treatment of my husband. I know that this is an incredibly tough season for… health care workers, and the rest of the staff at the hospital was great. A PA and 2 Nurses even told my husband they did not agree with what was happening to him. We are home now and I am just praying that he doesn't spiral. The pain meds from the hospital have already worn off and he is miserable. I am extremely disappointed with this physician and if I were you, I would think twice before seeing him. If you are ever at the ER, ask for a different doctor.
