Dr. Vinay did a heart catheter and found a 95% block in my upper right coronary artery and said he had to put in a stent. This was the WORST experience of my life. He put the catheter through my my wrist and had a hard time getting it pushed through. Saying he just jammed it through is an absolute understatement. He should be called RAMROD. Even the nurse told him, we need to stop this and go to the alternative. He snapped at her, saying he is doing this, as he torqued my arm hard and rammed the cath through. All, while doing this, I am about to come unglued, and I let him know it. He had the audacity to tell me to calm down, and that I can't feel that. I snapped back, and told him. DO NOT TELL ME WHAT I CAN OR CANNOT FEEL. That is when the nurse told him we need to go to the alternative site. After all this, they had a hard time stopping the bleeding, and I am bleeding all over, but they finally got it stopped, by putting on an air pillow type of devise pressing on the… on the hole,, extremely tight. After the stent was installed, and I went back to my room, my arm was deep purple clear to my elbow. I went home the next day, and had a follow up 2 weeks later with a cardiologist at the Dayton VA medical center. He could not believe what my arm looked like, even 2 weeks later and said this should have NEVER happened. Said, they would never do that there. He also said, it looked like that Dr. Vinay push the catheter through my artery and I had been bleeding internally. Dr. Vinay is an absolute JOKE, and I will never go back to him. He will not preform anything on me in the future. Bad,bedside manner and rude to his nurses. Another nurse I spoke with that knew him, said he is a jerk and does not like to work with women.
