Dr. Patel spends alot of time with me each visit and he never gives up on figuring out what is going to work for his patients. I don't know why everyone is complaining about his staff, I believe he has one of the best staffs around. Nancy is very helpful and so is everyone in the office. They always call back and help with whatever you need.

Rude and unhelpful appointment scheduler. Incompetent or untrained front office staff insisting that Medicare requires a pre-authorization for an initial doctors visit and examination. They wasted over an hour of my time without apology. This does not speak well of the doctor employing these individuals to represent him.

I love Dr. Patel. He is ALWAYS interested in what I have to say. I even got my husband to come to him when he started suffering with acid reflux. We both can not praise him enough. I will admit front desk help could be a little friendlier, but they have always gotten the job done for us. We would highly reccommend him!

Doctor is very good, his front office employees, on the other hand, need a great deal of improvement.

After not eating for 36 hours and not drinking anything for 9 hours, I arrived 8:40 AM for the procedure at 8:45 AM. I asked how long it would be and the receptionist stated that the doctor had arrived about 30 minutes late so they were running behind. After 2 hours and 15 minutes I was taken back and prepared for the procedure. I asked why the wait was so long and the nurse said that all four doctors scheduled procedures on this day (there is a group of three or four doctors - Dr Patel is one - that own the surgery center). I was VERY disappointed in the wait. People are hungry and thirsty sitting in the waiting room for hours and the doctor is late and they over scheduled procedures. I will not return. No excuse for this. If the coordinator of the center noticed that all the doctors were scheduling procedures he/she should have let it be known to those scheduling for the doctors so they could schedule fewer.
