Dr. Vincent William Ansanelli, MD

Hello. Just looking at ratings and one of them, rated 1 with a comment, was obviously meant to be rated 5 as it was a glowing review. Just letting you know.

I recently had breast conservation, instead of mastectomy with Dr. Ansanelli. I did not want to have a mastectomy. The margins were all clear and the result was beautifully cosmetic. You cannot even tell that I had surgery. I had immediate recovery. I was a bit nervous as he is the only surgeon having developed the work. The experience was everything I read, and more. Very grateful. He is out of insurance, and I am not in MCR. Not extravagant compared to other treatments out of pocket. Grateful

Ratings systems do not spotlight what a truly great doctor he is or reflect the dedication of his team. He is a pioneer in women's breast cancer. Imagine being able to have your breast removed, feel no pain and to be back in the game in short period of time. No hospital or hospital gown, people who care, no chance of infection and no medication to take. I had a mastectomy in early 2014 and was driving and out and about in three days. Cancer is really scary news and Dr. Ansanelli and his team make it easy. I did my due diligence and Dr. Ansanelli was my choice and hands down the best one I could have made.

I just flew in form out of town and had a mastectomy by Dr. Ansanelli's laser technique. The entire experience was effortless. I felt constantly cared for, informed and had a surgical experience that embodied everything I had heard and read about on their website. May every woman be as fortunate as me in having Dr. Ansanelli, his team and his pioneering work in lasers for breast cancer surgery!

No hospitalization back to work in 3 days after mastectomy. Just like laser cataract surgery. No pain no anesthesia.

I feel very thankful to have found Dr. Ansanelli. The experience was effortless in every possible dimension. The doctor explained how the laser would benefit my partial mastectomy, and what approaches could potentially be taken post-operatively once I received the pathological report to confirm the findings. The operative staff were courteous and efficient. The front office tried to accommodate my needs in every possible way, as I was traveling from out of town. If I ever need surgery in the future I will most definitely go back to Dr. Ansanelli's and have his laser method. I had no pain, didn't even need a tylenol, and was out for lunch immediately. I have, by the way, had surgery the "traditional" route and there is no comparison. I feel lucky to have been referred by another patient. I am sharing my experience, to help someone else.

So impressed that Ihad my mastectomy without hospitalization or general anesthesia! Friends said it was impossible but I was able to go out to dinner with them the next night without any pain! The technology was almost as amazing as Dr Ansanelli and staff! No other way to go but total laser surgery!

This laser surgery and Dr. Ansanelli and his wonderful team saved my life. I had a 20 lb. tumor and was in 4th stage breast cancer. After a radical mastectomy with no pain, I was back to work in 3 days. The same day after surgery I was sitting in the dining room at the Plainview, Long Island Homewood Suites with my sister 4 hours. No blood letting to contaminate other organs and no reoccurrence two years later. I highly recommend Dr. Vincent Ansanelli and his wonderful team and the use of this incredible laser surgery which is the only available facility in the United States (Plainview, Long Island, NY).

I would recommend Dr. Ansanelli as not only a wonderful surgeon but a compassionate doctor. His skill and advocacy utilizing laser for all breast procedures has been a tremendous service to women. I feel so lucky to have a doctor that uses a surgical method that benefits the patient before politics.
