Dr. Vincent P Cariati, MD

Dr. Cariati does a great job at providing a full explanation when you are in the exam room.! I will be going back for my next check-up appointment!

The doctor's wife took over as receptionist, clerk, etc. and the former staff have now departed or perhaps work part time. She is very argumentative and demands that you do a copay even if your insurance doesn't have a copay if you want to see the doctor for a scheduled appointment. Then she says its really coinsurance but that can't be collected until after you see the doctor and your insurer handles the claim. On top of that she is overcharging what these fees would be and knows it. Sad when people see you as a cash register instead of a patient. Ratings for this doctor have been dropping and I'm now going elsewhere. The doctor himself is typical and average in skills, but the "staff" is terrible.

I have been a patient of this physician for 10+ years. He is OUTSTANDING in every regard !! The Scottsdale Memorial Hospital Stroke Center misdiagnosed Bell's Palsy as a stroke (after being their over two hours)--when Dr. Cariati got the report he called me in to his office the next day a CORRECTLY diagnosed the Bell's Palsy !!!

Would highly recommend - no complaints - very professional and caring.
