Dr. V John Gonino, DO

Went to Dr.G when he started in Garland. Everyone was so nice. I loved them all. Then he moves to Heath, the old staff is gone and new staff is very disappointing and rude. We split from each other because his step daughter wouldn’t allow me to write a bad review. She threatened me to cease and desist. That was pathetic and funny and I was a good patient for 17 years. Maybe now, they will understand what I tried to explain. Hope Dr.G is okay. I liked him very much. I don’t look at or answer e-mails.

Dr. Gonino himself is great but his staff is absolutely awful. And since he is the head of the office he is responsible to overview if his office manager is not returning call and not fulfilling her job. They over charge me for no reason, my wife scheduled a yearly visit for me I did not visit Dr G since 2019 because of Covid and I was hoping to get a yearly visit for this year. Instead of a routine checkup which will be fully covered by my insurance they did an extended visit and asked me to pay $127. I have been calling billing Departement and requested to speak to office manager left her multiples voicemail with no response and each time I talk to front desk I was told she will call you as soon as she is available. Never got a call back or email to explain why they decided to charge me extended visit instead of a routine checkup.

Dr. Gonino is an excellent doctor and my teenage daughter who has many neuro-chronic health conditions is a patient of his for over 8 yrs. We have been very appreciative of his knowledge and professionalism and kind nature. My daughter sincerely loves him. The only thing that we have been having an issue with is some of the office staff and the office mgr. Anytime we have a problem with billing, they have always been rude and short. They also seem to use their title to abuse their power. My husband had lost his temper with one of the staff members after she had told him they were busy, it was a busy working day! So we have to continue to call and go over the issue all over again! This is a shame since Dr. Gonino is such an exceptional doctor! My advise to anyone who is going to see him, make sure to get a detailed receipt upon check-out and go over it with a fined tooth comb because chances are you will not be able to talk with anyone about any charges that may be over-charges.

I am very excited about working with Dr. Gonino. After years of no answers, mystery illnesses, this doctor spent olot of time talking with me and providing some solutions.

Dr. Gonino gets to the basis of the problem. He treats patients naturally. He is an excellent doctor.

Like it or not he gives you a blunt root cause not a symptom patch. Most folks cant handle the truth some can. He isn't cheap. There is no money in healing but there is bunch in maintenance, so he has to charge more to heal you.

Best Dr. I have ever seen takes care of everything I ask about. I am blessed to have found him 16 years ago. I had a stroke bran tumor and open heart surgery all in 2002 He gave me IV Chelatiion vitamins and any other IV solutions I needed within a year I felt so much better I Thank him for everything .

Dr G is awesome at what he does, he saved my life.

To sum it up HE SAVED MY LIFE!! No one would listen even flew to California to see a renounced doctor that couldn't help me. I had lost all function and accepted death. Until I found him.

Excellent Dr. Has a care for patients. I would highly recommend him.
