Dr. Vincent Joseph Hoye III, MD

I have been seeing Dr Houe for many years. He is a very nice Doctor and always answers my questions and concerns. He has a very gentle approach. Sometimes the wait is long, but very well worth it as the office is busy. The staff is nice and accommodating. Always ready to answer my questions and very attentive. The atmosphere is always cheery and seasonally appropriate. I have been to their other location, and the staff is decent their, but since I live near Chester that's where I go. Very lovely office manager. My whole family sees dr hoye!

My daughter was having a vision problem and I was concerned that it could be something beyond an optometrists area of specialty. I didn't expect to get an appointment, figuring we'd wind up at the emergency room. When I called, I got an appointment right away, even though we were new patients and the office was technically closed. His exam was thorough and although he was a bit rushed (he had a second emergency after hours patient waiting), I got the impression that he was taking our concerns seriously and was very thorough.

Marian, Dr's secretory is very rude. I have MS and got diagnosed with neuritis. I needed IV steroids soon but it took the Dr 3 days to fax his finding and notes to my neurologist for an IV request. I called 2 days after my appointment and talked to Marian, the secretory and she was so rude. I had to call 3 times and ask my husband to call for her to take us serious. She gave me attitude and said Dr Hoye also takes lunch at my first call @ 12pm, 2nd call @ 3:30pm she said DR Hoye has patients all day long, and last call at 4:30pm she said he is working on it. Very unhappy.
