Dr. Vincent Thomas Martin, MD

I started seeing Dr. Martin a few years ago. I had been treated for Migraines by a few other doctors, but the medicine I was on had many side effects that really impacted my work life. After changing my treatment a few times, I am now significantly better. I respected his work so much, I changed my primary doctor over to see him. When he isn't available for primary care, the team of doctors in his group have been great to work with and even though Dr. Martin is my favorite, the team he works with was very well qualified to assist me in his absence. Be aware, he is good, so he is busy. If you are looking for a doctor you can 'squeeze' in for an appointment, he's not that guy. However, he answers his messages, will help you when you need adjustments for your medicine, and will schedule you for nurse appointments. We recently moved, and I drive 4 hours for my quarterly appointments with Dr. Martin. Also, Julie, his office assistant, is amazing at ensuring your medication and… prescription insurance is covered, educates you when things are not covered, scheduling your appointments and is by far the most amazing support staff I have ever worked with at a doctor's office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Martin's for many years. HE IS MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICAN. Dr. martin continues to participate in the academic field of medicine as professor at UC. He is compassionate, understanding, takes time with his patients and actually listens to what you are saying. I consider myself fortunate to have such a great doc.!!!

IAfter seeing 4 other docs, undergoing numerous tests, and trying 23 combinations of medicines, I finally found someone in Dr. Martin who could correctly diagnose my problem - Cluster Headaches - and help me deal with a condition that in my case proved exceedingly difficult to treat. Dr. Martin was patient, understanding, listened well , and was willing to push the frontiers of medicine to find a solution.

I saw Dr. Martin after months and months of terrible migraines. Prior to him I saw 3 other doctors and tried many different medications. He prescribed me a medication that had me cured in 2 weeks and I didn't have to increase my dosage as he prescribed. The office called frequently to check on me and the medication. I am now no longer on medication and my headaches are seldom.

This was my first encounter with this group of doctors. I will absolutely recommend this group. They should give lessons on how to manage patient care.
