My thought was to have the cataract surgery and opt to pay the extra money at the same time so that I would not have to wear contacts or glasses to read, etc. After the cataract surgery the colors seemed more defined- I was able to tell Black from Navy but the vision in my right eye was and still is somewhat blurred. Even after further laser treatments my right eye is still not seeing clear and I have to wear glasses to work on the computer and even to read the text messages on my phone. I am very disappointed and cry at night thinking about the money I wasted (Out of my pocket) that could have been put to better use. My suggestion to anyone thinking about paying the extra money so they don't have to wear glasses or contacts is to make sure this is what you really want and also, read the fine lines giving you NO Guarantee! If I could go back I never would have let them talk me into spending the extra thousands of dollars. I accept that I should have given it more thought and they… should have have made it more clear that it more than likely will not work and in the end I would have to wear glasses anyway. In that case I would not have wasted my money.

Dr. Restivo was my rainbow and my happy ending after a year of almost going blind in my right eye from two 2 retinal detachments and subsequently needing cataract surgery. He performed the laser version of this surgery and now I see with 20/20 vision in both eyes, something other doctors said was not possible. I'm certain that I was divinely led to him. You must go to see this doctor for your eye issues.
