Dr. Vincent Stephen Scott, MD

Dr. Scott is the best doctor I have ever encountered. He knows his field, and he cares. He took time with me and explained my options for treatment, giving the chances of success for each. Then he helped me choose. When I found myself in the 20% fail bracket with the first option, he didn’t abandon me even though he was moving to Atlanta. Instead, he explained alternate options and arranged for my treatment by a colleague. During treatment he called me at home to check on me and explain, and he did things for me that a less considerate doctor would have delegated to a nurse.

Dr. Scott is always professional and I was treated as if I was the only patient he had that day. He called me the night before surgery and again after being discharged. I was assured more than once of his availability day or night. He was concerned for my well-being and that of my family. His nurse Karen also gave exceptional attention to me.

I must say that Dr Scott was one of the most attentive and knowledgeable doctors of gynecological medicine I’ve seen to date. He was the surgeon who operated on me for what we thought was cancer. I wish he was still practicing here so I could follow up with him

I endured urinary incontinence for 14 years. I had surgery for the problem ten years before (with a reputable gynecologist), but it was not successful. I became apprehensive about future surgery. I no longer desired to do any type of physical fitness for fear of embarrassment. I was hopeless! I came across an article several months ago that featured Dr. Scott. I reviewed his expertise, his years of experience and noted one of his specialties was female incontinence. I immediately made an appointment. I found upon my first visit Dr. Scott was professional, proficient and compassionate with his patients. Normally, I would have felt self-conscious and most uncomfortable to go through the physical check- up and test(s), but Dr. Scott had an excellent bedside manner. I had the surgery and it could have not gone any better. I had a little discomfort the first day, but surprisingly I never had pain. I followed his directions during my recovery time and eventually added physical exercise back… into my daily routine. I have been given a new outlook on life! I am forever grateful to Dr. Scott. He has truly been a blessing to me.

I had been under the care of the same gynecologist for 30 years when he died after a short illness. It was disturbing because he was the only one I had ever used and he delivered my only child.
