Dr. Vincent Joseph Serio III, MD

Dr Serio, and/or his staff at Full Circle Health in Meridian ID must have a hard time keeping up, or are totally incompetent. I was supposed to get a prescription for a blood thinner refilled which I was told would be sent to my pharmacy,, but when I completely ran out and called the pharmacy I use to refill it, they had no record of it. When I called his office, battling the awful phone tree and giving personal information to people that (I assume) are working from home for an answering service (during normal business hours), I was informed the doctor was out of town and whoever I was talking to with Full Circle Health had no record of a prescription or refill of one. I was referred to him by the hospital to follow up on a blood clot AND the prescription. I met him IN PERSON after being asked questions about our household income (weird) during admission, and filling out a multi-page questionnaire that outlined everything including this prescription. Luckily, I was able to get it,… after multiple phone conversations with the answering service people, again battling the phone trees and being put on hold for 10+ minutes at a time. It took all day. Terrible organization. Also, expect an insurance billing battle to ensue one you see this doctor. They claim to accept your insurance, but you get a HUGE bill in the mail afterwards without any attempts to even bill the insurance. I also noticed what appeared to be incorrect information on the bill. Mine was nearly $300, and I only saw him for all of about 10 minutes with no exam, no expertise or advice given, basically received nothing out of it other than covering the prescription verbally while a young kid worked as a stonographer for him in the room. I guess I had learned my blood pressure numbers for the day…
