Dr. Vincent John Williams, MD

I chose Uconn Health because I felt it would offer me the best care. I turned down reputable surgeons outside of Uconn Health because I felt Uconn would have the best. Unfortunately, my surgery left me with outcomes much worse than before surgery. I will need to see other physicians outside of Uconn Health and Dr. Vincent J. Williams, if anything at all can at all be salvaged. I am devastated.

The number of now chronic conditions and complications after surgery, and from this surgeons decisions during surgery, is truly unbelievable, fatal, and tragic. Not only do I suffer for the rest of my life, but those whom I love also suffer. That simple.

The number of poor outcomes on this dr. is truly representative of my now tragic experience with him. That he is now with Uconn is truly a disgrace to a educational facility for future drs. I had a severely botched surgery outcome. I trusted this man. It has been a horrible experience. My condition now is much worst than before surgery, and now suffer from a life threatening condition. The effects of the surgery are now tragically irreversible.

Horrible! Simply Horrible in both dialogue and procedure/surgical outcome.

My mother's knee replacement surgery was accomplished in a timely and very effective manner. Our family and I found Dr. Willliams', though highly skilled, to be brusque in his bedside manner, in the hospital before and after surgery, as well as in the office. The Nurse practitioner who works with him, Carol Nati, has been far more cognizant of my physical and psychosocial needs. During my mother's first follow-up after surgery my mother, who is diabetic, experienced a hypoglycemic episode, which Carol and Lori attended to promptly. Dr. Williams appeared annoyed that they were addressing my mother's needs and not seeing to other patients in a timely enough manner. I can well appreciate the need to see all patients efficiently, but consideration of patient's needs has to come first.
