Dr. Vindhya Nagjee, MD

I must admit that I made the mistake of not reading the Dr. Nagjee's reviews prior to applying for her panel. Reading these now reinforces my decision to remove myself from her panel. Getting myself a much more experienced Kaiser OBGYN, and definitely more pleasant to communicate with, is the first step I have aken towards better - and may I say, "SAFER" - course of treatment for my ovarian disorder. Dr. Nagjee misdiagnosed my condition, and needless to say, things only started to get worst from there. In retrospect, I now think that I should have seen this coming from the time she was 50 minutes late for my appointment. Yes, she was late (and unapologetic)! Well, I know you are "a doctor", but a little humility helps win the trust of your patients. You lost my trust. Dr. Nagjee is clearly inexperienced and I will not recommend her to anybody with a serious ovarian issue. She put me on an excessively unnecessary dose of medicine which resulted in life-altering side effects that… I now have to battle with on a daily basis. She almost (well, she, in fact, did!) mis-prescribed a test for me, which my current OBGYN eventually told me was unnecessary. The problem with Vindhya Nagjee is not so much that she is inexperienced, but the fact that she is on her own tangent and will NOT listen to you. She doesn't want to listen to you and feels too rushed to explain "what" your condition is, and "why" and "how" her prescription or treatment is going to work. She fumes and fumbles while speaking to you, which almost set me on a panick attack! If your doctor makes you feel that she isn't sure about what she's saying, you better get to moving on. And, so I did! My new OBGYN puts me at ease, speaks and advises with decades of experience and confidence, and is somebody I can trust and candidly communicate and discuss with - EVERYTHING - about my issue and how I feel about my body. Well, bye-bye Dr. Nagjee! I will, in the best interest of my body's well-being, not even in my sleep think about getting treated by you.

I am grateful for the care and bedside manner that Dr Nagjee provides. She creates an environment in which I don't feel hesitant, ashamed, or rushed to ask questions. She provides information in layman's terms to truly help my understanding. I wholeheartedly disagree with the posted negative reviews of Dr Nagjee. I've had a prior gynecologist that audibly went "tsk tsk tsk" when reviewing my health records and made me feel ashamed. Dr Nagjee is a gem.

I don’t think she know what she is doing and this is very scary! I don’t know why Kaiser still let her working there with so many bad reviews.

She treated me for PCOS and was indifferent throughout. She would not respond and would not listen. I finally gave up and am currently seeing a new doctor, who is a "class difference" from her, both in knowledge and etiquette.

If I have option I would have given her zero stars, she is one of the Drs at Kaiser with no empathy. I am not sure if Drs are trained to not to have compassion or sympathy, but this women is dangerous. My condition has became so severe even the sirgean is shoked to see what is going on inside and they have to stop the surgery further to stop further damage to other organs. She has no clue when I visited emergency multiple times and finally have to force her to give am appointment for surgery and even them she tried to scare me with the Cons of the surgery. Of course it became too late for the surgeon to perform surgery due to internal scaring and fusing of organs. She is not qualified to be a doctor and I do not know how Kaiser hires these kinds of Drs. Do not go to her thinking that she will help you, she will make your condition worse and un-treatable. If you want peace in your life find an other OBG&YN.

Beware of this so-called "doctor". Absolutely no empathy for the patient. I had explained her - not once, but many a times - that I have pain issues with a particular course of treatment that she was suggesting. My last doctor, who I left because my insurance changed, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about all possible options available for my medical condition. During my second correspondence with her, she had no clue about my case history (because she had not cared to read up on my case). I knew it there and then that I could not trust her. And now a little on her tone and interpersonal behavior. If you are of South-East Asian origin, please do not think about even considering her. She will talk you down. The more you try to be courteous with this doctor, the more she will take liberties with you. I wonder how Kaiser Permanente proudly proclaims to be a "diverse" hospital when one of their own does not have any respect for diversity. I am an attorney and this Dr.… Subramanyam should consider herself lucky that I am not reporting her misconduct and incompetence to her licensing body.

She has no empathy for her patients. Even after explaining my pain levels she is suggesting a short-term treatment with lots of side effects. She doesn’t care if a patient lives or dies, I wouldn’t recommend her to any one.
