Dr. Vinod Bhavnani, MD

No one on his staff wears masks. He does not wear a mask and he has to get up close in your face to examine the eyes. The Fort Myers/Lee County area is considered high risk for infection by the CDC and he does not seem to care about the health of his patients, most all of his patients are older and frail.

Gifted surgeon! We travel over 2 hours to see Dr. Bhavnani, he saved my husband’s eyesight who has battling with glaucoma since the age of 18. Would not recommend anyone other than Dr. Bhavnani. Absolutely love him!!

this dr. is one of the best you will find in fort myers,i first took my brother(an Korean war vet) to dr.bhavnani on the advice of the eye dr.at the VA,in fort myers,when the doctor finished with my brothers eyes,an we went back for his regular check up,the VA dr was amazed at the work the was done by Dr.Bhavani.he has sense operated on my daughter,my wife,an my self.this is one great doctor.

I have been under care of Dr. Bhavnani more around 10 years. All this time, I have been amazed how good a specialist he is. The treatment stopped my glaucoma and a surgery removed cataract, which are essential treatments for your eyes if they are the tools of your work (as a teacher, for example). Besides that, he performed a very successful surgery on my eye after an accident, and this required a significant professional expertise, which not every doctor might have. You can really rely on Dr. Bhavnani's medical knowledge and care when you are his patient. Besides, I have been always pleasantly and courteously treated by his staff, the nurses, which are extraordinary and extremely well educated in patient care.
