Dr. Vinod Kumar Panchbhavi, MD

Went to see him as a referral for the DOL/OWCP which he does second opinion for them. My injury is a spinal cord and cervical. I’ve had two rods, 2 plates and several screws in my neck. The assessment lasted minutes. He had no background in cervical injuries and he said in the end I could return to work. He offered no solutions to my continued pain or surgical repair yet reports show I have further untreated injuries. All he said is I could return to work. He only wanted the money the contract pays to say what the DOL wanted. He obviously doesn’t care about offering or helping a person seek treatment. A foot doctor offering a opinion on a cervical injury. I would trust what he says. My last clinical test was over 4 years old he had the option to order new test, so as to see what was actively going on yet he failed to do so. What doctor gives a medical opinion on 4 year old diagnostic test in a field he has no experience treating patients. I offered his current cervical assessment by… other spinal cord specialist and he refused to even look at them and that them in to consideration.

I would not recommend this doctor . I’m in more pain on my foot then before . They just keep adding to pain killers.

Hardly talked to him. Too many students. All he said was tendon, shoe supports and some nsaids. No explanation. See you in six weeks if the burning in my ankle persists.

Went to see him today for the first time. His only interest was passing me off to a contractor, conveniently located in his office (Hanger Clinic Orthotic) to BUY an orthotic that insurance won't cover. Find an Orthopedist on your own and save your time & co-pay on a doctor that will be interested in your needs.

This dr does not do pre-op preperation, does not explain what he is going to do, does not respond to mychart messages. My wife had a ligament replaced in her ankle and was told nothing about the procedure before or after. Did he use a tendon fom a cadaver? He explained nothing. He also claims to have talked to me following my wife’s surgery but that is a lie. Avoid UTMB, Methodist is far more professional and a thousand time more trustworthy.

Dr. Vinod Panchbhavi Is A Compassionate And High Profile Surgeon. Never Once Did I Feel Any Pain Or Discomfort During Or After Surgery. I Highly Recommend Him To Anyone Who Suffers With Foot, Ankle Or Knee Issues. I Am Overwhemingly Satisfied With His Passion And Knowledge To Be The Best In His Desired Profession. He is amazing doctor

This doctor was simply Godsend to us, my husband had lost all hope of saving his leg after he had many operations 25 in all, at different hospitals, we saw many surgeons. Dr. Panchbhavi was the one who got rid of the infected bone and put him in a frame made the leg straight and he is back working. our family is indebted to his care.

My foot was treated for infection when there was none. Dr. Panchbhavi correctly diagnosed the problem as charcot and fixed the foot. And because of him I still have the leg and able to walk. I am very grateful.
