Dr. Vinosha Balakrishnan, MD

Our entire family switched to Dr. Balakrishnan. She is very friendly and respectful. Both, she and her staff, provide great care in Clare, Michigan!

Was switching my entire family to one doctor. First impression wasn't good when the staff called on 4 separate occasions to reschedule the new patient appointments. Upon meeting my very active 11 year old son she walked into room and directly asked "what we where going to do about his obesity?" Mind you he has been in the 95% since birth for both height and weight. He simply is a big boy. No previous doctors have had any concerns. Talk about poor bedside manner and first impressions. Fast forward a few weeks to seeing my 15 yr daughter who is super healthy and plays sports of all kinds. Tells me she has a heart murmur and won't pass her for a physical until she sees a cardiologist. Went straight to get a second opinion and next doctor who was already familiar with daughter said there is absolutely no need to see a cardiologist. Husband saw her as well and apparently he has a breathing problem only with her?!? You guessed it needs to see a specialist. To say the least we will be on the… look out for a real family doctor that we can all see without being misdiagnosed or having to unnecessarily spend thousands of dollars to see specialist.

I liked this Doctor when I met her. I felt she took enough time with my questions, even though she didn't answer anything with a possible solution. They were not big issues. I decided that while she was not warm and embracing like I am used to with any other Dr. I have seen in my 60 years, I did like her and would stay. Then I needed an appointment. Try to get by her thugs at the reception desk. Good luck. They first told me I wasn't a patient. After proving that I was, I never received a follow up call to set up an appointment. I am not even going to mention the hassle of getting a flu shot ( 3 visits and no shot this year). I was asked to get it at the office, but they never had the time. And yes, I did go at the proper "flu-shot giving time". I have moved on. Unprofessional staff like I have never seen before. I loved the convenience of being so close but you will need blood pressure tablets by the time you explain your needs. Pity, she probably is a good Doctor.

This is supposed to be my family Dr., but since this physician took over the office you cannot be seen. I've been told (while very sick) at least a week to get an appointment and told to go to urgent care, with rotating Drs who know nothing of my history. Maybe they need another Dr or a PA in this office. Looking for a new Dr. So this terrible office should have openings for someone else who never wants to actually see their Dr.

The worse physician I have ever encountered,Did not listen to my health concerned at all. Her staff was equally horrible!Saw her twice and will never go to her again.She has been to numerous medical facilities so it's apparent after awhile patients realize how awful she is and she leaves and goes to another facility.

The woman is amazing. I've seen a lot of doctors, but she is the real deal. To her you aren't a number. She strives to help people live a quality life and address the underlying issue of your symptoms. Never had a better doctor.
