Dr. Violet Nematollahy came to NOVA Pediatrics in 1996 after merging her solo practice in Burke with ours. She was born in Iran and attended Tehran University, followed by a residency at Georgetown University Hospital.

Dr. Nematollahy is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a partner of NOVA Pediatrics.

Dr. Nematollahy chooses newborns and teenagers as her favorite pediatric areas, two of the most challenging age groups!

When it comes to her free time, it is filled with tennis and biking. While her daughter is away at college, Dr. Nematollahy is left to love and care for a chinchilla named Persephany.

Both my children have seen Dr. Nematollahy since they were born. She is a thorough doctor. She always takes the time to catch up with them and ask how they are doing. We are thankful to have great doctors like Dr. Nematollahy.

Dr Nematollahy has been our boys pediatrician since they were born in 2002. We love her because of her competence and genuine concern for their well being. She has been able to diagnose issues that others couldn't. We trust her.

Dr. Nematollahy is a thorough doctor. Her experience with children borders on a sixth sense. She has diagnosed things in my kids that specialists found hard to find... one in gastroenterology and one with the heart. The cardiologist was impressed with her findings and wondered how she found something so small! Since then, we have moved to another county and I drive the 1 hour just to continue seeing her. My twins are now 16, (she met the at 1 day old in the hospital) and she has given me the BEST advise in parenting, nutrition, behaviors and more! As a result, my children are healthy and well looked after.

Dr. Nematollahy is a great pediatrician with excellent bedside manners. She is very knowledgeable and very kind to her patients. I really recommend her to anybody who is looking for a good physician.

I highly recommend her to all of my friends....she ALWAYS talks me off the ledge when I am concerned about my perfectly healthy child :)At the same time when something was wrong she diagnosed it and followed up above and beyond the call of duty.Excellent pediatrician....and I luv the office staff too.
