Dr. Violet Mae Yeager, DO

Dr. Yeager approaches each patient with respect, empathy, and a commitment to truly understanding their unique story and helping them reclaim and recreate their personal narrative. She believes that effective care goes beyond treating symptoms; it requires a holistic, patient-centered approach that considers physical health, mental well-being, environment, and personal values. Her guiding philosophy is rooted in collaboration. She views the patient as a partner in their care and strives to create a space where they feel safe, informed, and empowered. Dr. Yeager practices evidence-based medicine, combining the latest clinical research with medical judgment and each patient's individual needs.Dr. Yeager was inspired to pursue a career in mental health through her work in trauma research and international medical missions, where she witnessed firsthand the global need for compassionate, accessible psychiatric care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys writing and illustrating children's …stories, which she often adapts into puppet shows to support play-based therapy techniques, particularly with young patients. She is also actively involved with a nonprofit organization that supports research and education related to service dogs. In her free time, Dr. Yeager enjoys walking her dog and spending time outdoors.
