Novant Senior Healthcare was great and I recommended them to many other seniors. Not any more. In the past couple of years it has changed. I'm looking for the healthcare I use to have at Novant Senior.

This doctor had my mother in tears. Her accent is so heavy that we couldn't understand her, but she literally said "I don't think your mother understands what I'm saying" (meaning that my mom, who is perfectly coherent wasn't comprehending her advice.) She mocked my mother when she she refused a pneumonia shot. She chided my mother's heart specialist over a medication, saying "that's what they do. They toss it back on US to do." She bullied my mother over her Ativan, which she has had a simple prescription for 20 years and only takes one as needed. My mom is 89 and never even drinks. Plus, we waited an hour to see her. It was a terrible experience and we like the senior clinic but will NEVER see this doctor again. I cannot even IMAGINE that she is a hospice doctor. She has no compassion at all, based on our experience today.

Dr. M has been treating my mom for various ailments - she is a fantastic doctor and mom has improved tremendously in just 2 months!

Dr. Minca is a no nonsense, direct, and extremely knowledgeable doctor. I appreciate her as a person, highly respect her abilities, and would recommend her to anyone. Appointments are at times delayed, but it is oftentimes due to the amount of geriatric patients that she sees. She takes her time and ensures that everyone is afforded the time they need with her and explains everything in terms that are clearly understandable.
