Dr. Violetta Lyra, MD

Amazing experience!! I tend to hold everyone to a high standard (maybe because I am a law student, hahaha). I can honestly say Dr. Lyra and her staff exceeded my expectations!! I went to see Dr. Lyra for my yearly check-up. During my visit, I shared a concern with her, and she took care of it immediately. She was so kind, took the time to explain everything, went over consents, and did a small procedure. My previous OBGYN told me to ignore the situation, but it didn’t feel right, so I am so glad I switched to Dr. Lyra. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Even during the procedure, they asked if I wanted one of them to hold my hand! (So kind!) I am so glad I switched! If you are looking for an office that is kind and genuinely cares for your well-being, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Lyra and her staff. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Compassionate & caring. Very detail oriented. Delivered my baby girl and made sure me and her were always okay during the whole pregnancy. Highly recommended. :) <3

I wouldn't even give it a star. First of all, on the consultation, she barely took the time to do the exam and answered my question, I even had to stop her half naked because she was ready to leave the room and I still had more questions. Then, I went for an ultrasound and the doctor wasn't there and no one called me to let me know if things were OK, I had to call and ask if everything was OK, and the lastly, she prescribed depo shots, when it was time for me to get the first one I called to see if a RN who works with me could put it and the secretary said yes, now that I need to get another one she is asking for more information about the previous shot that I didn't know I need it, and because I don't have it they told me I would have to go to another doctor! This was beyond rude, I would never recommend her and I advice you to not go see her!

I have been a patient of Dr Lyra since I moved to Florida about 15 years ago. She delivered my beautiful son and has been compassionate, knowledgeable and a wonderful doctor.

Very bad experience, you schedul appointment and you always wait couple hours before you get in. Doctor wrote wrong prescription and this is costed me a lot of money after. She never correct it. I don't recommend this office to no one...

Trust her clinical care. Not a cookie cut Doctor. Listens to you and develops a plan of care together. Always has the same staff year after year. Feel like I could call her anytime.

Dr. Lyra was great throughout our pregnancy and delivery. God blessed us with such a good doctor, both as competence and professionalism, as well as kindness. I would recommend her services to anybody. The staff is competent and efficient.

Dr. Lyra took care of my first pregnancy. It was a high risk pregnancy for multiple reasons. Yes, you need to wait, but it is worthy, because she foccuses and explains. She made me feel very confident. I was not an easy patient, and she showed her expertise. That is what matters! I dont want to be seen right on time, and then have the doctor speak to me just for 5 minutes. She speaks to you as a woman and as a physician. I missed her very much! I moved to texas, and still remember her dearly.

What I like most about Dr. Lyra is her bedside manners. She's very personable. Her office is nice, the location is great because it's close to lots of stores and shops :-); plenty of parking. The office staff is okay, disconnected and a little cold at times and I was disappointed that I had not received a reminder for my next visit for over two years... Maybe they tried to reach me and could not; but two years??? Dr. Lyra is great but her staff does not share her same character.

dr. lyra's office is under staffed and always over books visits. i always wait 45-50 minutes for my annual visits. i have been going there for 4 years now only because it is close to my work. Her staff at the front desk (not the nurses) are so rude! i have never been treated so poorly in my life. i will be changing doctors because of this reason
