Dr. Viral Jagdishbhai Shah, MD

I had half my thyroid removed and about 4 weeks after I felt horrible and wasn't put on any medication because 2 weeks post surgery my levels were still in the "normal" range. I called the doctor and they said they would have him call me. One week later I called again and finally got him on the phone. I was told they were playing "catch up". I was told to have my levels checked again and would get a phone call the next day and still haven't received a call 4 days later!

I've been seeing Dr. Shah for a couple years for benign thyroid modules. When you meet with him, he is so calming and personable; he really engages with you so you never feel rushed. The only problem with Dr. Shah and the other doctors in this practice is that they always go over on the time allotted for each patient which then causes significant wait times as the day goes on. I truly love the non-rushed time with the doctor, but the office should allow more time for each appointment so patients have a more realistic appointment time.

This lady is a brilliant endocrinologist.

He is good and very concerned about my health, thanks to him, my diagnosis is getting better. He did let me realized I MUST eat nutritious food and used my medicine.

I read all the reviews about this dr., and their office staff, I have only the words of praise. Even the office was closed due to the weather aftermath, dr. Shah still took me in and spend an hour with me, although I came fully prepared and educated with what I have and the fact that I'm pregnant. The front desk staff, is just great and very courteous. Just the words of praise!!!

The program made me give 1 star, but I wish I could give a negative rating!Doctor Shah failed to diagnose me with cancer. I had a swollen lymph node which he told me was fine and never sent me for CT scan or anything beyong an ultrasound, which DID show enlarged nodes and he did not send me for any follow up testing like an MRI or CT scan which would have showed this malignancy. He said I had nothing to worry about. If I had listened to him and not sought another opinion, I wouldn't be writing this because I'd be dead. DO NOT go to this doctor, there are many other endocrinologists out there who will send you for the appropriate tests to make sure you're okay.

I highly recommend Dr. V. Shah. Dr. Shah is very caring and spent enough time answering questions and providing information pertinent to my condition.Dr. Shah is always available whenever I need his services. I wish all doctors had the same bedside manner as Dr. Shah.
