I have seen in before annually for past few years for Pain Management for Chronic Back Pain. He administer Radio Frequency Ablation. I found him nice and funny with his cultural music playing in background and once you start to talk to him he opens up. But patients need to understand with many patients to seen in a day it is hard to really get to know the Doctors.

Very poor bedside manner. Just uncalled for rudeness to his staff as well as patients.

The pain clinic has advised me well on treatment options and ha made my back pain tolerable

I was under the care of Sheila black andi said I just wanted her and not dr desai and yet I went for appointment and he cam ein the room ,he does not listen to you and he was out of the room in 3 mins.the care was not good and black sent me to the er at cape fear hosp and I got a urine infection while in the hosp and was left in tachycardia for hrs, and I tried to talk this over with him and he walked out and wouldn't listen to me. then I told them I would take this further and I get a letter in the mail saying they are letting me go as a patient, and they want to charge me 50.00 for a copy of my records. this is insane to say the lest. the staff there is very rude and talk down to you. they do labs and you have to keep calling them for the results and this is not a place I want to get care. you judge for yourselves. they don't seem to care about you at all.

He doesn't go out of his way to chit chat but that's what I like about him. He is politely direct and very professional. I recommend him highly.

I am a 77 year old woman. I have Degenerated disks in my spine. And this Dr. was horrible to me. I asked him for help and he said I can't give you a magic pill and He said you can try surgery, but I had a hip replaced about 2 years ago and vowed I would not have surgery ever again. When you get there they treat you like you sell your drugs or your an addict! He almost made me cry, my husband was in the office so he heard everything that he said. Going to find a better mannered, more helpful Dr.

Rude and uncaring. Rushed. VERRRRY Short on communication. Does not listen to patient concerns. Not responsive when trying to converse and share information with him. Does not communicate a diagnosis, planned care or options, or a reason he plans a type of treatment, etc. Patient is in the dark as he just plans and does whatever for whatever reason. ????? Who knows. You try to ask a question, he walks out.
