Dr. Virginia Machado Kinsella, MD

Dr.Kinsella herself is wonderful and had treated ITP for many years. However her present nurse leaves a lot to be desired.

I went to her after being diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and found out I had defective genes causing it. Now I just have to figure out what to do with this info.

I've been her patient for years now. I have always found her to be extremely caring and professional. If she runs a few minutes late it's because she takes her time with her patients. I would recommend her to anyone needing the type of treatment she delivers.

Great great great Doctor! Shows good bed sides manner. Overly gives you information. She make sure you have more than enough information so if you don't have question now you will. She take you through every step and show you diagrams. She has a passion for each of her patients, I see this and hear this from other staff members that doesn't work for her. She does take as long as the patient needs her but I have never gone to her and had to wait along time even when being late for my appointment. I've gone to Dr. Appointments were you wait for one hour and get in the room a still wait for the Dr. Never with her. Her staff is good about scheduling her time with her patients. This whole group she's in along with the staff is good and very friendly. They help with the Dr. Time, information, return call along with make call. They even call if you're late to check on you. Most office don't do this and never calls. Her wait time depends on the service you have that day and how they have you… scheduled can be from 5 mins or 20 mins.

Dr kinsella actually listens to patients , unlike a lot of Dr's .

We love Dr Kinsella for who she is - kind, patient, and willing to explain the answers to our many questions. Consistently frustrated by the front desk staff and phone staff. Mixed reviews on the rest of the staff. Kindness goes a long way for us. Some display it while others do not.

I felt that Dr. Kinsella and her staff were all personally taking part in my care. I felt Dr. Kinsella was professional while being sympathetic to all of my aches and pains. I felt her approach to my care was the best for me and the quickest route to recovery. I think she always had my best interests at heart. I not only thought of her as a wonderful physician but also an awesome friend.

I'd like to say that we were very disappointed by the staff and wait time with this doctor. There were many inconsistencies in knowledge as to why the appt was set. Also, staff not knowing many times about blood work etc. Very Very disorganized.Dr missed the full diagnosis. Thank goodness for second opinions. Having Cancer is hard enough. The staff and lack of professionalism and warmth is completely a disgrace!
