Virginia T. Nguyen, MD

Virginia Nguyen, MD, is a vascular surgeon whose areas of interest include treating and managing vascular disease, including carotid arteries, aortic aneurysms, blocked arteries in the legs and arms, and clots and blockages to the veins.
Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree from UCLA, followed by the completion of her General Surgery residency and Vascular Surgery fellowship at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
“I became a vascular surgeon because of the variety of treatment options I could offer to patients as well as the lifelong relationship I build with them,” shares. Dr. Nguyen. “I view my patients as if they’re my family and I strive to provide the best possible care for them.”
Away from work, Dr. Nguyen enjoys hiking on local trails with her husband and their dog, Minnie, a miniature Australian Shepard. She also appreciates camping, traveling, baking and cooking.
