Dr. Virginia Watts Reddy, MD

I have seen Dr. Virginia Reddy every 3 months for the past 2 years and she still has no diagnosis for me. I get my blood drawn every time I see her and my labs are always wonky, yet she has no clue. I have all the symptoms of fibromyalgia, yet she says that my diagnosis is "inconclusive" and we need more time. I was diagnosed with lupus (by a different doctor) in 2013 with a blood test coupled with symptoms, yet Dr. Reddy says I do not have lupus. She also refused to call another specialist Dr. that I am seeing for other issues after I asked if she would, because *maybe* they could collaborate and figure out what is wrong with me. Instead she referred me to a different specialist in the same field. It makes no sense. She is collecting money from my insurance and I am still suffering. I will no longer see Dr. Reddy because she IS NOT helping me. After 2 years and countless blood tests and symptoms, she absolutely should have a diagnosis for me. She is a great listener, yet every… response is "hmmmm... interesting". I'm not interested in supporting her income any longer because she has not helped me one iota.

I saw Dr Reddy about 7 years ago, after the practice she was in dissolved I was seeing another doctor who was literally almost the death of me but recently I managed to find her again and I am thankful. I am not an easy person to treat but she is one that definitely looks at the pros and cons of medication that we are treated with. She will not put you on anything we’re there is a possibility that the side effects could be worse than the symptoms. She is not in a hurry to write a prescription so when she dose I know it’s the best approach. We are all so different it’s hard as there is mostlickly not another patient that is exactly like me. When I have had an urgent need she has fit me in immediately. She is great and I trust her to help me live the best life I possibly can.

I found her to be disinterested in and difficult to get in to.

Listens to her patients and hears what they are trying to say to her, very intelligent with good bedside manner. Very difficult to find a quality physician like her in the DFW metroplex.

Dr. Reddy is a good listener. However, she hasn't done well helping me to understand about my disease or side effects of the medications. I often leave her office with my questions unanswered.
