As I sit here in the VVS MD IV treatment room with 3 other patients, we are all sharing our stories. There is an undeniable sense of connection among us cancer patients, rooted in our unique challenges and emotions that each of us faces. Our experiences are all different, we are varied sex and age and demographics. One patient from across the country, 1 from out of the country and 2 locals. Even though we had previous and varied treatments, we all can relate the the difficult side effects. One patient had to even be hospitalized! We all agree that it's frustrating to undergo treatments designed with a one-size fits all approach, leaving us with lingering worries about the future and what might happen if we don't quite fit that mold. Dr. V.'s root cause and customized treatment plan then becomes a no brainer. We all agree about what brought us to VVSMD and why. We were looking for a doctor we could connect with-someone we could talk to, someone who genuinely cared. She even believes… a hug is part of the treatment plan! Dr. V.'s straightforward manner and honesty reinforce out confidence in her abilities as a profession Integrative Oncologist.

So grateful to have found her.

It was a "God thing" how I found Dr. V. The treatments were individualized and made sense. She is wickedly smart!!!
