Dr. Virginia Truitt Sherr, MD

I am a nurse and as such am very particular about my physician care. I contracted Lyme disease with many multi-system symptoms. I went from a straight A Ivy League student to being unable to calculate 10-3 in a few weeks. I had complicated neuro-psychiatric symptoms that were very frightening. Dr Sherr's knowledge as well as her compassion were beyond compare. She immediately was able to educate me about how serious Lyme disease is and how my brain was being effected by the infection. She referred me to a wonderful internal medicine doctor who has treated my medical needs as well as personally treated my neuro-psychiatric component of this horrible disease. I would give her the highest recommendation to anyone who needed a smart, articulate and compassionate physician to treat Lyme disease its co-infections or other psychiatric needs.
