Had a very difficult child birth with both my boys she did amazing both times if I was to ever have another child I would definitely call her back!!!

Kicked out of U of L med school for blowing up at a professor. Had to go out of state to be accepted & finish training. Lost three practices before going to Fort Knox.

If you know anything about medicine, at all, then you know Dr. Stokes is an exceptionally gifted physician. I have no qualms in saying she is by far THE BEST, THE VERY BEST ob/gyn in all of Louisville. She is brilliant. Well-studied in her own field, she is equally as knowledgable outside of it.It's true, Dr. Stokes doesn't have that "bedside manner" you search for in a lot of doctors... But she's not a lot of doctors; she is an ob/gyn (for cryin' out loud!). If you want someone who's going to coddle you, and make you feel all warm and cozy, when you're dealing with a medical concern DON'T go to her... On the other hand, if you want your doctor to respect you, to care about your health, to tell it like it is when it needs to be told, then Dr. Stokes is your gal!

Dr. Stokes delivered my third child 12 years ago. She was great! Now 12 years later she did my hysterectomy! She diagnosed my problem right off and took care of it. I have never had a problem getting a last minute appointment and even being a last minute work in, my wait was only 5-10 minutes. She is great.

I've been blessed to be a patient of Dr. Stokes for nearly 20 years. I've followed her through 4 office locations. She was my hero after my ablation surgery, when my grandson's cord was wrapped tight around his neck and after my total vaginal hysterectomy just to name a few. I trust Dr. Stokes completely and recommend her highly.

This doctor ruined my and my babies life.

Dr. Stokes has been my OB/GYN since I had my 15 year old daughter. Unlike many physicians, she truly cares and is invested in her patients. She has also diagnosed ailments outside her specialty that many other physicians have missed. She really loves caring for her patients and I hope she never retires.

DR. STOKES IS AWESOME, I WOULDN'T SEE ANYONE ELSE IF SHE TOLD ME TO.

I just love her! I had such a wonderful experience with my first and lobe her tell it like it is attitude. I was unable to use her for my second and was devistated I would reccomend her to anyone and hope she is able to deliver my next,,

This (doctor) term used loosely, needs to have her license removed and has been sued several times. A fact I did not know until after I went to her and had problems myself. She keeps getting out of the laws suits on technicalities. I changed doctors after she almost let me lose my baby, due to her negligence, thank God I knew what to look for and had been warned by some others.
