I agree that if you want to be coddled don't call Dr.Witt. However, if you do want good accurate diagnosis and treatment you cannot go wrong with her. I can say with some certainty that I would not be alive today without her thoroughly professional help. I had a GI bleed in the wee hours of the morning and insisted my wife drive me to the hospital, By the time we arrived I had lost nearly six pints of blood and had to wait for triage. My wife had phoned Dr. Witt before leaving Within a few minutes of arriving she walked in and had me sent to ICU with that brusqueness other reviewers have commented on. She continued to come and see me each day until I was released. In my view she is a gem and I'm probably better qualified than most to comment. All of my professional life has been as a pharmacist!

This is the most pathetic doctor practicing medicine today in the USA. I will report her to every single regulatory agency possible.

A few days ago I had to go and see Dr. Witt because my normal doctor was out on maternity leave. I had to wait an hour to see her (I made the appointment 2 weeks prior)once I did see her she walked in the room and gave me a strange look. I said "hello" and her response was "ya hi" So right away I knew she was going to be difficult. I needed to get a new script because mine had run out. She proceeded to read off questions from her ipad and never once looked at me. Once she was done she looked up and started telling me all about why she doesnt like the medicine I am on and why would somone like myself want to be on it and all the while in a digusted tone. So not only did I feel embarassed but also like I had been doing something wrong. I am all for a new doctors opinion and recomendations but this woman was out of line. At the end of the visit I still felt the need to tell her to have a nice weekend and she grunted back "ya". Can you believe that!?! Portside Medical needs to… terminate this woman asap! I have a few friends who have had to see her and all have come back and said the same. SHE IS HORRIBLY RUDE AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE MEDICINE. Learn some manners as well Dr. Witt!

1st visit, spent a lot of time. 2nd visit, grumpy. 3rd visit, visibly annoyed as if I were wasting her time because my ailment wasn't serious enough, unprofessional and not thorough during examination.

Dr. Witt is smart and committed. She is quite brusque and gruff and no-nonsense. I'm fine with that. Others may not be; don't go to her if you want to be coddled.

I have seen Dr. Witt several times. She has been nothing but thorough, thoughful and caring. I don't need a doctor to hold my hand... I need a intelligent doctor to diagnose and treat the ailment. Any time I needed to speak with her, she returned my calls. I would recommend her to anyone needing quality medical care.

My wife and I both see Dr. Witt, I believe she truly cares about her patients, she is an excellent clinician, she takes her time to make sure all of our questions are answered. If I have a question, I can call in and she will take a moment to speak with me. What some people call rude, I call direct and thats what I want in a Dr. dont beat around the bush, let me know whats going on and the course of treatment. Highly recommend Dr. Witt to anyone
