Dr. Virgle Offe Herrin, MD

Great Dr! Takes his time and really listens and gives thought to his replies. Because of this allowed a little extra time because he runs a bit late. I didn’t much care for home at first but he has really grown on me. I’m thankful for the care he gives.

If it possible to give him zero stars I would. His bed side manner is lacking as well as his knowledge of medicine. I took my daughter in when she had her first seizure, he insisted it was just a fall. The following morning, she had two grand mal seizures again he dismissed it. He then proceeded to order the wrong tests and send her home. We finally had to take her to Albuquerque where she received proper care. This man should not be practicing emergency medicine.

Dr. Herrin has been my physician for over 25 years. He has always taken the time to explain his findings, always answers questions and is just a great person.

Went to see Dr. Herrin In hopes of finding out what was making my husband so sick. During the follow up appointment where we were to get the results from blood tests Dr Herrin was explaining blood pressure multiply this divide that and I sighed (I had just gotten off of work and had heard this several times before by others ) Dr Herrin said well I must be boring her shes not even paying attention. I stated that I really didn't see what that had to do with the test results. Dr. Herrin then began to verbally attack me by saying " im over 70 years old and I do things my way I dont listen or follow what the patient is saying or wants I do it my way and if you dont like it you can leave after all Im the one they send all the trouble patients to" i tried to explain again I just did not see what that had to do with the blood tests results. Two more times Dr. Herrin repeated the above statement to the point my husband said thats enough lets go. We got up to leave and Dr. Herrin shoved the… test results at my husband. I thought Dr Herrin would be able to figure out what the others were not able too, Guess I was wrong. So if you go to see Dr. Herrin just remember dont sigh when hes talking and remember he does what he wants not whats best for his patients

Dr. Herrin is above and beyond an outstanding physician. Knowledge of an Ivy League doctor, bedside manner of a country doc, and honest.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional during my visit.
