Dr. Vishakalakshmi Subbiah, MD

Dr.Subbiah is the epitome off a “bad doctor”. She can care less if you have cancer, autoimmune disease, or any sort of illness that can shorten your life. As far as lab results go, she’ll post them on your portal but never give you a single call. I’ve been severely ill with different things but to get an MRI, took approximately 5 months. Not because the place didn’t call me, it’s because she didn’t even have the mental capacity or care to send in my note. Come to find out, I have a tumor in my ankle that took her nearly took a year to put me through. I was in excruciating pain but all she said was, “I’ve prescribed ibuprofen”. Thank god the other doctors were competent enough to help me and that it wasn’t cancer. I have absolutely nothing against doctors, but please stay clear of this disappoint of a “medical” doctor. I will be taking my services elsewhere and reporting her. I highly doubt nobody will do anything to fix this problem, but I hope nobody’s life is handed to her. She’ll… definitely care less about your situation. I fail to see what she has successfully done, aside from prescribing me medication without diagnosis. I think she should either retire or stay away from the medical field altogether.

The most rude and unprofessional doctor. I had pain in my body and she was laughing about it. Not listening at all and not considerate. Not good doctor and not nice as a person. Really upsetting that people like this work as doctors.

I saw the doctor for sudden onset of severe headaches and nausea that caused me to miss work for a week. I went to the ER before coming in to the doctor, was prescribed hydrocodone and nausea medication at the ER and told to see my doctor right way and request an MRI. Dr. Subbiah refused to submit an approval request, and told me to keep a journal for 6 months documenting my episodes without treatment. I looked up the care guidelines and determination criteria for MRI and discovered that I met the requirements for MRI with my medical provider.
